The Department of Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Senior Lecturer position specializing in cybersecurity, beginning August 2021. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity and general computer science, both for majors and for non-majors. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist in the development of our cybersecurity degree programs, including the creation of new courses and instructional materials in the area
Qualifications: Candidates should have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, with demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity research and practice. The successful candidate will also demonstrate experience teaching and developing instructional materials in computer science and specifically in cybersecurity. We seek an individual who has a genuine interest in teaching and curriculum development.
